JOB TITLE: Senior Underwriter
Location: Candidate must be located in the state of California (the position will be FULLY REMOTE)

Oliver James has been partnered exclusively with a digital Insurtech specialized in the Real Estate and Habitational market.
The role:
At this time, they are looking to engage with Senior Underwriters. The successful Senior Underwriter will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the client's presence as they continue to expand. This is a FULLY REMOTE position with some travel as deemed necessary (less than 10%).
As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for:
- Quoting and releasing new and renewal business
- Analyzing and approving requested policy changes
- Building and maintaining relationships with external partners to support marketing functions and efforts to build and promote the business
- Completing special projects and assignments
The Senior Underwriter should have the following skills:
- 5+ years of Underwriting/Insurance experience
- Small Commercial or Property Experience is needed, habitational experience is a PLUS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
