Role & Responsibilities




As an E&S Casualty Underwriter at our client's distinguished firm, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of their mid-market domestic operations. Profound expertise in Excess and Surplus underwriting with a primary focus on the US domestic mid-market segment ($50k to $500k) will be crucial. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:




  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and decide on the acceptance of insurance applications based on inherent risks.
  • Construct and maintain effective relationships with wholesale brokers to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Analyze and interpret urgent data to solidify strategic underwriting decisions.
  • Manage and oversee full policy life cycles, ensuring compliance with both internal and external policy regulations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop innovative insurance solutions tailored to customer needs.
