Senior Underwriter - Construction / Treaty

Senior Underwriter required by leading global insurance business offering excellent salary level and opportunity to progress to Manager level for the right candidate.
The role:
- Drive the underwriting treaty activities for construction/engineering
- Primary focus on China market with additional regional scope (India, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, etc)
- Manage client relationships and LOB portfolio effectively
- Report directly to CUO Engineering
- Regularly meet clients and brokers
- Perform technical analysis of the underwriting business
Requirements:
- 5+ years underwriting experience for Consturction / Engineering
- Ideally exposure to treaty / reinsurance
- Strong experience of dealing with China market ideally
- Chinese speaking (ESSENTIAL)
- Relevant engineering qualification ideally
