Job Title: Full Stack Engineer leaning more on Frontend

Job Type: Full time (80% - 100%)

Locations: Bern

We've partnered with a global leader in providing top-tier telecommunication services to find them a Full Stack Engineer join their dynamic team.

They're looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer for a full-time hybrid position based in Bern. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in software development, developing maintaining high-performance and user-friendly solutions. . You will be a part of a development team is responsible in to designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions that meet their clients' needs.

Your main task:

  • Conduct object-oriented analysis and design to improve our software solutions
  • Build and optimise user-friendly, high-performance frontend applications.
  • Design and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with backend teams and cross-functional groups for seamless integration of system components.
  • Engage in code reviews and technical discussions to elevate software quality.
  • Deploy applications in Docker environments for efficient, scalable delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Software Engineer with Java and JavaScript.
  • At least 3 years of experience in frontend development.
  • Professional experience with React or similar frameworks.
  • Proficient in building web applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Skilled in developing object-oriented microservices using Java, ideally with the Spring Framework.
  • Able to work effectively in an international team environment.
  • Proactive, responsible, and initiative-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Swiss or EU/EFTA citizen (or holder of a B or C work permit).
