Oliver James is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join a dynamic team within the media sector. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data to shape marketing strategies, develop predictive models, and enhance customer insights based on CRM data. Our client is a leader in the media industry and is looking for a data-driven professional who can help optimise marketing campaigns and improve audience engagement.

As a Data Scientist, you will be a key player in this mission, helping our client thrive in an ever-evolving media landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy predictive models to enhance customer segmentation and engagement strategies using CRM email data.
  • Design and implement data pipelines, ensuring data is cleaned, transformed, and processed efficiently for analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights that inform strategy.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows that support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for querying, data manipulation, and model development.
  • Interpret and communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in both English and French.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, particularly in data science and marketing within the media sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 years of proven experience in data science, with a focus on predictive modeling and customer behaviour analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, manipulation, and building machine learning models.
  • Experience with CRM systems, specifically in the context of email marketing and customer segmentation.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytic and media industry trends is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional fluency in French (mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of English is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
