Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Analyst to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, DataBricks, SQL, Power BI, ETL processes, and Python. This role will involve data analysis, building data pipelines, and creating reports and dashboards to help drive informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis:
Perform data analysis and transform raw data into actionable insights using Azure cloud technologies. Utilize SQL and Python to clean, manipulate, and analyze complex data sets from multiple sources.Data Pipeline Development:
Design and implement efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Azure Data Lake or Data Warehouse. Leverage DataBricks for scalable data processing and automation of data workflows.Reporting & Dashboarding:
Build, optimize, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to present insights to stakeholders at various levels. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools.Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:
Work closely with business users and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting.Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Continuously optimize and improve data processes and reporting tools. Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in Azure, DataBricks, SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Data Services:
Strong hands-on experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.ETL Expertise:
Proven experience in designing and developing ETL processes using Azure-based tools or other industry-standard ETL frameworks.Advanced SQL Skills:
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and optimization.Data Analysis & Visualization:
Experience in creating insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.Programming Skills:
Strong knowledge of Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.DataBricks Expertise:
Familiarity with DataBricks for handling large datasets, optimizing Spark workloads, and using notebooks for data exploration and processing.Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
