As they continue to grow and modernize their operations, our client is looking for a talented Azure DevOps Engineer with Full-Stack Development experience to join our dynamic team.
You will play a key role in optimizing the cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and driving software development and deployment across their complex, mission-critical systems. Role & Responsibilities:
- DevOps Engineering: Design, implement, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes to streamline software deployment and ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
- Full-Stack Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance web and backend applications, leveraging technologies such as .NET, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, and Azure CLI.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize Azure monitoring tools and analytics (such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights) to proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Collaboration & Best Practices: Work closely with development teams to promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Champion continuous improvement and automation.
- Shipping Industry Solutions: Understand and integrate key business requirements and workflows specific to the shipping industry, ensuring that technological solutions align with operational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including working with CI/CD pipelines, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Full-Stack Development: Strong experience with modern web development technologies, including .NET (C#), JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Expertise in Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security features.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git, GitHub, or Azure Repos for version control and collaboration.
- Automation: Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet to automate cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure-based container orchestration tools.
- Agile Methodologies: Comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive development and operational excellence.
- Shipping Industry Knowledge (preferred but not essential): Understanding of logistics, supply chain, and shipping operations is a plus, but not a requirement.
