Azure DevOps Engineer - London
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to help us manage, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in driving automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices within our Azure environment. Your efforts will help improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our applications and services, enabling our teams to deliver high-quality solutions faster and more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-availability infrastructure in Azure.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other automation tools.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, applications, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices for cloud-native application deployment and lifecycle management.
- Continuously improve and optimize processes for build, deployment, and monitoring of applications in the cloud.
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices for identity management, access control, and monitoring.
- Provide on-call support for critical production issues and work on root-cause analysis and resolution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in Azure cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, artifacts) and tools like Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms.
- Expertise in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Strong understanding of monitoring and logging in Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including identity management (Azure Active Directory), network security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with scripting and automation in languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- (preferred but not essential): Understanding of logistics, supply chain, and shipping operations is a plus, but not a requirement.
