Our leading specialty Insurance client is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will support the optimization and maintenance of a sophisticated Workday Adaptive solution. Your technical expertise will help ensure smooth business-as-usual (BAU) operations, drive system enhancements, and contribute to a forward-looking product roadmap. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate integrations, and enhance the system's performance, ensuring it meets stakeholder needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating modelling solutions to address support tickets, implement feature enhancements, and develop new functionalities.
- Support Super Users with data mappings, integrations, and system maintenance, including versioning, access controls, assumptions, and sheet updates.
- Conduct system health checks and optimize configurations to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with and leverage bi-annual Workday Adaptive Planning updates.
- Collaborate on the development of the product roadmap to align with business objectives.
- Partner with platform architects and stakeholders to gather, refine, and implement end-user requirements.
- Provide technical expertise for the design, configuration, and deployment of system enhancements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system design and configuration for future reference.
Skills Needed:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
- At least 3 years of combined experience in Finance and IT.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail with an independent, proactive approach to work.
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred:
- Certification in Workday Adaptive Planning (active status not required).
- Certifications or experience in Workday Financials or Workday Prism.
- Background in the insurance industry, including familiarity with related terminology and accounting standards.
- Part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Proven experience in FP&A system development and administration.
- Stakeholder management expertise and a service-oriented mindset.
