My client is an MNC insurance company with an excellent collaborative and flexible culture and currently investing a lot in technology.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the Technology team and contribute in the Migration project. The focus of this candidate is to manage the migration of on-premises application to Cloud / SaaS solution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration project and work collaboratively with vendor, Infrastructure and offshore development team to orchestrate the project activities
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets
- Ensure that the migration process adheres to best practices and quality standards, conducting thorough testing before final deployment
- Manage change requests effectively, ensuring all changes are documented and approved by stakeholders
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of working experience in IT project implementation covering data migration and legacy system migration to SaaS project
- Experienced and knowledgeable within the insurance industry
- Proficiency in project management software e.g. Jira and collaboration tool e.g. Confluence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage
