- Perform various financial reporting activities (including statutory reporting, financial data analysis, and review) to meet business, commercial, and regulatory standards.
- Provide expert accountancy and commercial advice to a diverse group of stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
- Ensure robust, efficient operational finance processes and controls, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support both external and internal audit processes.
- Collaborate with other teams (including cross-jurisdictional partners) to promote effective teamwork, coverage, and alignment with best practices.
- Engage in and support finance-related projects across the team.
- Represent Finance in governance forums for key projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Define and deliver business readiness criteria for critical projects.
- Facilitate training and engagement to ensure the Finance team is well-prepared for project-related changes.
The success full candidate will have a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) and must have a sound understanding of the insurance industry. You will also have strong communication skills and be a self starter.
