Snr Business Analyst - IT & Governance (London Market)

About the Role:
I am looking to speak with highly skilled Business Analyst's with a focus on IT and Governance to join a dynamic and growing firm within the London Market insurance sector. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful change, work on a variety of strategic projects, and have a tangible influence on the future of the business.
As the sole Business Analyst in the team, you will have the autonomy to shape projects and initiatives, ensuring that your voice is heard and your suggestions are valued. This is a role for a self-starter, ready to tackle complex challenges and collaborate closely with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the requirements gathering process, using MOSCOW and other techniques, to ensure comprehensive understanding of business needs.
- Conduct workshops and interviews with various stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Support the Project Manager (PM) with managing and delivering projects on time, within scope, and to budget.
- Take a leading role in stakeholder management, building relationships and effectively communicating with C-suite executives, developers, and business teams.
- Manage conflicting stakeholder priorities, balancing their needs to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Provide expertise in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvement.
- Work on key initiatives such as:
- PAS (Policy Administration System) upgrades.
- Implementing a new Borderaux system - VIPR.
- Introducing a new Capital Model with Willis Towers Watson.
Your Experience & Skills:
- Strong London Market experience - ideally gained from a smaller insurer.
- Extensive Business Analyst skills, with a proven track record in requirements gathering and facilitating discussions.
- Experience in managing stakeholder prioritization and navigating conflicting interests.
- Process improvement and Target Operating Model experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, from technical teams to C-suite.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys having full ownership of their work.
