We are partnered with a $60b AUM private credit asset manager in Downtown Chicago that is rapidly growing and expanding their financial reporting teams. They are located in the loop working on 2-3 days onsite. Great medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits. Compensation is market competitive.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for multiple private credit funds.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reports
- Lead cash forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with investment teams to analyze and record complex investment transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports, capital calls, and distributions.
- Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist with various special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
- 2+ years of relevant experience at another fund or public accounting background in financial services
- CPA is preferred
- Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Organized with great attention to detail
