Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience: External auditors from major CPA firms with 3+ years of experience, including at least one busy season as a senior. Candidates with a combination of external audit and corporate accounting/finance experience at large public companies are also welcome.
- Certification: CPA preferred or actively pursuing it.
- Corporate Experience: Background in corporate accounting or finance at a large public corporation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Analytical Skills: Strong technical and auditing abilities, including proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) rules.
- Technical Proficiency: Excellent desktop computer skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (e.g., macros, pivot tables) preferred.
- Career Stability: Demonstrated career progression and stability in previous roles.
