This is a fantastic chance to dive into a high-impact role with a growing global organisation, in arguably one of hottest areas of the market: Funded Reinsurance, Swaps and New Business Deals.
Oliver James are partnering with a leading global reinsurer who are looking to add two ambitious student actuaries to their expanding team. This is a fantastic chance to dive into a high-impact role with a growing global organisation, in arguably one of hottest areas of the market: Funded Reinsurance, Swaps and New Business Deals.
You will be working closely with the ALM and Investments team, especially around funded reinsurance and investment assumptions for pricing.
Ideal candidates:
- Student Actuary; Minimum half way through exams up to newly qualified
- UK market experience; insurance, reinsurance or conusltancy
- Able to travel to London c2 days a week
- Experience across: pricing, capital reporting, solvency II, modelling (Deal/Pricing - PRT experience would be a nice to have, but not a pre-requisite!)
- Good general understanding of market risks (interest rates, FX, credit spread, liquidity) and how they impact capital requirements
- Broad understanding of reinsurance
