A leading insurer operating across the US, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their rapidly growing team. This global client is privately held with over backed by a fortune 500 asset manager. With their high M&A model, they have become key players in the insurance space and have a cutting edge investment strategy. Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid 3 days)
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Lead new strategic initiatives for the business including system implementations and process improvements
- Acquisition integration
- Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP and Statutory reporting
- Lead contact for audited financial statements
- Build and maintain internal controls
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in insurance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- CPA or parts passed preferred.
Salary: $80K - $120K base + bonus
