Title: SAP Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3/4 days onsite)
Type: Contract - 6 Months, possibility for extension
Pay Rate: $70-100hr DOE

We are embarking on transformative SAP projects to optimize our supply chain, logistics, and materials management processes. We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Project Manager with expertise in Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), and ideally, Transportation Management (TM) to lead these critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP projects focused on Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), and Transportation Management (TM) from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with business units to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure the integration of SAP MM, LE, and TM modules with other SAP systems (e.g., SD, PP, FICO).
- Drive project meetings, stakeholder communication, and progress reporting, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation of project plans, processes, configurations, and change management efforts.
- Facilitate testing, training, and go-live activities, ensuring smooth transitions for end-users.
- Manage third-party vendors and consultants involved in the SAP projects, ensuring quality delivery.
- Provide leadership in the adoption of best practices for SAP project management, particularly in supply chain and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing SAP projects, with a focus on Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), and ideally, Transportation Management (TM).
- Proven track record of delivering full lifecycle SAP implementations or large-scale upgrades, particularly in supply chain or logistics modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP MM and LE processes, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and shipping.
- Familiarity with SAP Transportation Management (TM) is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities to guide teams through complex projects.
- SAP certification and/or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
