We are exclusively partnered with a Top Tier Financial organization in Hong Kong hiring a Senior / Project Manager for a large digital transformation project.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic/product delivery projects from initiation, business case creation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling until closure
*Accountable for the management and delivery of projects to time, quality and within approved budget
*Work closely with wide spectrum of stakeholders and partners, including distribution, product, investment operations, compliance, legal, customer experience, marketing, IT, etc. to enable effective project governance
*Recognizing and mitigating risks, resolving issues, identifying dependencies and pro-actively managing any corrective actions or change requests throughout the lifetime of projects
*Accountable for successful execution of all aspects of business change delivery, including Target Operating Model implementation, solution delivery, training and communication
*Provide regular, accurate and appropriate change reporting and communication to Sponsors and Senior Management to ensure the status of progress and that any associated risks, issues or changes are recognized, understood and managed, with the appropriate escalation when necessary.
*Ensure the development and distribution of quality project-related documentation to all interested parties
*Maintain a positive attitude and act as team player in supporting team activities and initiatives
*Provide support to the Head of Project Management Office to build a team with strong business sense and project/change management skills
Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering complex, large scale transformation projects in financial institutions
* Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in business transformation/change management/data migration or project management, investment fund product delivery experience is a plus
* High degree of drive and motivation to ensure delivery of objectives in a timely, efficient and effective manner, with the ability to work in a fast-paced change-oriented environment under time pressure
* Excellent relationship management skills with experience managing senior stakeholders in a matrix, multi-cultural organization
* Ability to lead and motivate different functions and delivery teams to achieve common goals
* In-depth and hands-on project management, business analysis expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical, problem solving skills and decision making by analyzing and interpreting data
* Change agent with ability to challenge status quo constructively
* Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery
* Excellent communication, influencing, planning and organizing skills
* Agile Certified/Scrum Master, with Agile knowledge and adoption experience is an advantage
* Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change
* Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
