Overview:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join my clients Title Insurance Finance Team. This role is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for title insurance and agency operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and statutory principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial close process to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and statutory guidance.
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to develop actionable plans that align with company goals.
- Optimize the financial close process by assessing and enhancing existing activities and data sources.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the finance team.
- Lead cross-functional projects related to financial systems and process improvements.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
