Manager, Accounting

Our client, a well-established leader in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager to join their dedicated Finance Department. This is a permanent position based in the corporate headquarters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with all Statutory Reporting generally accepted accounting principles).
• Manage the entire cycle of property and casualty regulatory reporting for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
• Develop and implement robust internal control frameworks to enhance financial accuracy and reliability.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Provide expert financial analyses and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor and supervise a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Key Skills

• Profound knowledge of Statutory Reporting and generally accepted accounting principles
• Extensive experience in Property & Casualty Regulatory Reporting for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing finance teams.
• Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial software.
