We are on the lookout for a driven IT Business Analyst / Management Consultant to become part of our Client's team and assist in developing and executing quick-win projects that target prompt enhancements and tangible results within the organization. This position will be crucial in pinpointing opportunities, assessing procedures, and working with various teams to achieve significant outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to collect and analyze IT requirements for Finance Applications in the insurance sector.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of business needs and translate them into precise technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint and prioritize quick win opportunities that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute action plans for quick-win initiatives, ensuring clear timelines and objectives.
  • Work closely with project teams to implement initiatives, monitor progress, and measure results against predefined metrics.
  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams during quick win implementation.
  • Ensure accountability and sustainability of implemented changes through appropriate change management practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand organizational and operational challenges.
  • Stay informed about the latest IT applications and technologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of new IT operations from conception to completion.
  • Prepare statistical reports to aid decision-making processes.
  • Manage technical challenges, collaborating with developers as needed.
  • Facilitate demand management processes, including forecasting, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business units to prioritize IT initiatives based on strategic goals and resource availability.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on demand status, project priorities, and resource constraints.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience within Top-5 management consulting firms or as an internal Management Consulting would be a HUGE advantage
  • 3-4 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, process improvement, or business analysis, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience leading or supporting quick-win initiatives or similar improvement projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Understanding of financial applications and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
