This Position as an Investment Operations Analyst would sit on the Asset Management Arm of an established Reinsurance company. This team of professionals is working to strengthen a global team ensuring proper trade representation, documentation and regulatory processes.
This role would have a primary focus in end to end trade life cycle operations including (but not restricted to) trade creation, confirmation, settlements, payments, and maintenance.
Transaction and Settlement Management: Lead the execution of securities lending, treasury, and public market transactions, ensuring timely settlement of bonds, equities, and OTC derivatives. Process bespoke transactions and ensure accurate settlement across various financial products.
End-to-End Transaction Oversight: Monitor all phases of the transaction life cycle, including trade booking, confirmation, pre-matching, and regulatory reporting, while resolving any exceptions to ensure smooth settlement.
Post-Settlement Activities: Oversee post-settlement reconciliation, corporate actions, and collaborate with external parties for confirmations. Ensure smooth processing of payments and settlements for asset management.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure daily processes align with regulatory requirements, manage operational risk, and enforce escalation protocols for settlement-related issues.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, to implement and test solutions that enhance the settlement process.
Operational Efficiency: Analyse and resolve any breaks or inefficiencies in the settlement process, and continuously implement changes to improve system work flows.
