Information Security Officer
Zurich (1 day a week in the office)

Oliver James are once again partnering with a prestigious international bank in Zurich to help them find a technically skilled and curious Information Security Officer. This role is ideal for a professional with several years of experience in IT and a strong background in information security who is eager to take on a new challenge within a larger financial business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consulting & Assessment: Provide expert consulting, assessment, and review of projects with regard to information security issues and requirements.
- Cyber Risk Management: Support the assessment of cyber risks and development of protective measures to safeguard against significant threats.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct in-depth technical analyses (deep dives) and develop actionable security measures.
- Security Audits: Plan, monitor, and evaluate security audits to ensure compliance and address vulnerabilities.
- Advisory Role: Respond to everyday information security queries, offering informed opinions and solutions.
Your Experience and Skills:
- Professional Experience: Several years of hands-on experience in the administration of IT systems with a solid understanding of operational and technical aspects of information security.
- Educational Background: University degree in Computer Science (Bachelor or Master) or a comparable level of higher education.
- Certifications: Technical certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP) are highly advantageous.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with a curiosity for exploring new topics.
- Communication: A communicative and assertive personality with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior management and technical teams.
- Language: Native or Bi-Lingual German/Swiss-German and Good English.
