Oliver James is excited to announce a growing opportunity for an Information Security Specialist, with specific focus on Policies & Standards.

This role will manage and communicate updates to the Information Security Policy (ISP) and associated standards, ensuring all employees and contractors are well-informed and compliant.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating the ISP and standards, evaluating proposed changes, and drafting additional guidelines, including capturing updates from stakeholders and providing guidance to queries.
  • Participating in the Group Policy Working Group, providing suggestions and feedback on proposed changes.
  • Preparing the agenda and chairing the regular Policy and Standards Review Group, ensuring discussions are documented in formal minutes.
  • Using diverse sources to monitor emerging threats and technologies
  • Promoting the use of ISP and standards across the organisation.

Skills / Experience required:

  • Strong knowledge of Information Security and Information Technology, preferably concerning policy application
  • Must be proficient in writing security policies and standards and ideally, experience in implementing ISO 27001/NIST/CSA
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging presentations
  • Experience working in multinational companies
