Job Title: Head of Claims Life Insurance
Salary: $300,000 per year + Excellent Benefits
Location: New York, NY
We are looking for a Head of Claims within Life to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role within operations or claims functions. You will be responsible for developing and delivering on the claims operational model that fulfils the company's vision to clients and customers.
You will define operational metrics and associated staffing models aligned to customer expectations; create dashboards that drive transparency on results and proactively identify business drivers and trends from a thorough analysis of claim data. You will be the owner of the customer claims experience; leverage client/customer feedback and monitor industry trends as an input to adjust practices and model to drive improvements.
You will execute operational readiness deployments of claims technology and processes in support of initial rollout and ongoing enhancements.
You will create a culture of service excellence focused on driving strong experiences; engage and empower team members to deliver on this vision. You will drive scalable processes as the in force block grows; ensure efficiency for internal teams and ensures work is focused on value-added tasks.
You will build a talent development strategy for the organization; lead, mentor, and coach a team of direct and indirect team members.
