Job Opportunity: Director & Actuary - Life Valuation
Our client, a renowned leader in the Life Insurance industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join their distinguished team as Director & Actuary - Life Valuation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the reserve calculation, valuation models and ensure compliance with various accounting standards (Statutory/PBR and GAAP/LDTI).
- Utilize and manage GGY Axis and MG-ALFA systems for actuarial activities, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency and acting as the model executive.
- Collaborate with other department leaders to support the integration of actuarial practices across the organization.
Key Skills:
- 6+ Years of experience
- Valuation or financial reporting experience with Stat/GAAP
- FSA designation a plus
- Life insurance products preferred
- Experience with GGY Axis or MG-ALFA actuarial modeling software
- Strong communication skills
