As the Data Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy, leading a talented team of data professionals, and leveraging analytics to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven insights that will support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's modernization goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify data needs and opportunities for analytics-driven improvements.
- Design and oversee the execution of advanced analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Evaluate and implement tools and technologies to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders effectively.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and insurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies in a corporate environment, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
