Our client is leading the charge to be a data driven organisation and is looking to recruit a number of data scientists for an upcoming project.

This role is ideally suited to you if you have 5+ years experience within a similar position within data science or machine learning and if you come from a strategic business facing background.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data-driven business opportunities and define requirements for data products.
  • Mine and analyse data from company databases to optimise schedules, resource allocations, and business strategies.
  • Develop, test, and implement machine learning models to improve business outcomes, including customer experience and revenue generation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and monitoring of data products and models.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience developing enterprise-ready data science or machine learning models.
  • Education: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience working with large data sets.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, neural networks) and advanced statistical methods (e.g., regression, A/B testing).

Desirable Skills:
Experience with BI tool sets such as Tableau, Cognos, and familiarity with data architectures like Kimball or Data-Vault 2.0.
