Data Management Lead - Manchester Hybrid - Up to £80,000
We're looking for an experienced Data Management Lead for a leading global provider of reinsurance, primary insurance and insurance-related risk solutions.
As the Data Management Lead, you'll spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Data Management, you'll establish and maintain data management arrangements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity to support strategic objectives. As you will be a senior and pivotal member of the team you will be leading on a number of projects to implement Data Management Strategies, working closely with senior stakeholders throughout the business and ensure compliance and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement the strategic Data Management Framework and roadmap.
* Establish performance measures and a Data Risk Profile for the Data Governance Framework.
* Design and implement data lineage arrangements.
* Identify data assets and track their movement through the organization.
* Design and implement consistent data definitions and metadata standards.
* Lead stakeholder discussions to agree on data definitions and metadata points.
* Establish governance processes for changes to Data Definitions and Metadata Standards.
Required Skills/Experience
* Proven experience in data governance, strategy, reference and master data management.
* Extensive experience with MDM technology, such as Informatica both cloud and on-prem.
* Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and regulations.
* Knowledge of data privacy and protection laws and regulations
