We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Functional Consultant with expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) to join our team. This role will focus on leading the finance workstream in a global implementation, working closely with stakeholders to understand their financial business processes and translating those requirements into effective, efficient solutions within the Dynamics 365 F&O platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance workstream for a global D365 F&O implementation, ensuring successful delivery across multiple regions.
- Lead requirements gathering and process mapping workshops for finance-related processes in D365 F&O, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
- Configure and implement Dynamics 365 F&O modules related to financial management, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and project management, to ensure successful integration of financial data across various business processes and systems.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation cycle, from system design through to deployment, testing, and go-live.
- Conduct system testing, user training, and create documentation to ensure successful user adoption and understanding of the system.
- Provide guidance on best practices for financial processes within the D365 F&O environment, driving process standardisation and automation across global operations.
- Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing recommendations for optimising the system and processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend system enhancements to maximize efficiency and streamline financial operations.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, while maintaining strong communication with global stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Functional Consultant with in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Extensive experience in leading and managing global D365 F&O implementations, with a focus on financial management modules.
- Strong understanding of global financial business processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, period-end closing, and compliance with local regulations.
- Ability to configure and implement financial modules in D365 F&O, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
- Experience with data migration, integration's, and interfaces between D365 F&O and other systems.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate resources, and meet deadlines in a complex, global environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Certification in Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with other ERP systems and financial software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools for financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of consultants, driving collaboration and ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Familiarity with change management and global team coordination in a fast-paced implementation environment.
