Cloud Solution Architect
Responsibilities:
- Oversee architecture governance: Implement and enforce architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
- Lead discussions, workshops, and brainstorming sessions with clients.
- Summarize advice in architectural designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design and guide the refactoring of existing applications in a Cloud Native manner.
- Select and optimize GCP services based on performance, cost, security, and scalability.
- Design and implement new cloud-native applications on GCP using Kubernetes, Apigee, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, etc.
- Participate in performance and scalability testing of cloud solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or similar role.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal architecture, SOA, and CQRS.
- Experience designing and deploying microservices in a composable architecture.
- Experience with API-driven and Event-driven architectures.
- Deep understanding of Cloud technologies and architectures.
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to quality work.
- Excellent collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead a team of engineers.
- Strong skills in cloud security and compliance best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies.
- Effective communication skills in Dutch & English or French.
