We are excited to present a stellar opportunity on behalf of our esteemed Life Insurance client, a leading player in the Insurance industry. They are seeking to fortify their Compliance department by adding a seasoned Vice President - Chief Compliance Officer. This permanent position offers a dynamic work environment where quality leadership and compliance governance underscore the company's commitment to exemplary service and industry excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the compliance program to ensure company operations align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to efficiently navigate the compliance landscape and facilitate compliant business practices.
  • Lead the compliance team, providing direction and training, while fostering a proactive culture of compliance throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
  • Develop strategies to effectively manage compliance issues and create improvement plans for resolution.

Key Skills

  • Experience in the Life Insurance space required
  • Profound knowledge of compliance frameworks and policies relevant to the Life Insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating compliance protocols to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to foresee potential compliance risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in conducting thorough compliance audits and implementing necessary changes.
