Position: Actuarial Analyst - Life Insurance Business
Department: Actuarial Team
Reporting to: Head of M&A
Role Description
The candidate will join the Actuarial Team, currently composed of 4 members, and will support the Life Insurance business for the local branch. This role involves active participation in an ongoing migration project to new actuarial systems, with the go-live scheduled for April 2025. The primary focus will be on cash-flow production and associated reporting requirements, including regulatory reporting (such as QRTs and IFRS 17).
Key Responsibilities
- Producing cash flows and fulfilling related reporting requirements, with a particular emphasis on Solvency II, QRTs, IFRS 17, and regulatory reporting;
- Actively supporting the migration project from legacy systems to new platforms;
- Assisting in the management and implementation of actuarial models using Prophet, primarily for life insurance products.
Role Requirements
- Experience: 5-6 years of actuarial experience, ideally within the Life insurance sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of Solvency II requirements.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17
- Ideal proficiency in Prophet for actuarial modelling.
